8/9 year old me, seeing that opening scene for the first time…to me was OMG magic! Still is, still LOVE it, ELO, roller skating, dancing, muses!!!

My father loved this movie. We saw it twice in the theater
This movie is much better than its reviews (and its box office performance) would lead you to believe … but you'd never know it from this clip. The limning effect must have cost a mint, but its wasted on a four minute scene with MAYBE a minute of meaning (and that's being generous) set to one of the weakest songs in the entire show. It hurts to say that about ELO, but really it just feels like a watered down knock off of "Don't Bring Me Down."
What a superb masterpiece of soundtrack. Back in the days when works like Lynne's saved the day for many movie producers. Now, there is no such talent to come up with something of this quality. The whole industry is crap.
I wanted to be her. I idolize her so much. That was back in the time when the dance movies were kind of popular you know Travolta was in one. I can’t remember the name…Staying alive maybe I’m not sure. But I balled when , she passed away for like three days. I don’t know why I mean I just lost my mom who was the last living member of my family and it somehow tied into grief. I don’t know. I think maybe it felt like that was a part of my childhood that I remembered vividly and when she died, I don’t know it’s weird. It worked itself into grief I guess from what I was going through or am still going through. And I don’t care what anybody else says. I love this movie, always have always will! No shame not this girl! ELO at the opening? 😊

Lindo demais. Tinha um canal perto da praia de Iguaba grande. Primeiro amor nunca se esquece. Eu tinha quase 15 anos. O carinha morava mais perto do que eu podia ter imaginado. Reencontrei 16 anos depois. Casado.
