  1. When Tim Curry breaks the fourth wall, throws his glass at the camera then looks at us, raises his eyebrow and says “ well, how about that?” that right there guaranteed this movie was going to be a classic.
nerd fact: the glass throwing was ad-libbed 👍😀😀

  2. Can you PLEASE upload the whole performance to this song (starting from the scene where Brad and Janet argue in front of the elevator)? 🙏👍💯 I really wanna watch it but can't find it anywhere in this/good quality. ☹️

  3. Of course Tim Curry is iconic in this role. However, let's not forget everyone in this movie who gave it their all to make this movie the lightning in the bottle that it turned out to be. Simply brilliant, incredible.

  4. What I absolutely LOVE especially in the context of the musical is how Frank, with all their gender fluidity and sexual ambiguity, presents so feminine but the VOICE is so undeniably masculine and baritone in spite of the more theatric flair and that really makes the character feel so whole. Tim Curry's vocal range shines in baritone and doesn't need to blast high notes to make an impact with his voice and it feels like the perfect ying to the yang of Frank's whole feminine presentation. I am in love.

  5. My mom made sure this was required viewing for my siblings and myself when we were kids in the 00s. Now she spends hours a day ranting about the lgbtq people she sees on Facebook that "didn't exist ten years ago."

  6. I am about to be 39 in 2025, and I saw this film during freshman college year, age 18… my introduction to Film class teacher was a huge fan of the film, and he showed this to us I think the third class?

  7. I've seen memes this, but not parts of it. As someone who hasnt seen this, Initially, its looks like a level higher than the producers and i love the producers! Gonna check this out in the future!

  8. As far as I'm concerned Tim Curry in this role is one of the most iconic performances of all time. Actors like Meryl Streep level. It was ground breaking with all kinds of difficulties in filmimg/production and an insanely low budget. a transformative role much like Charleze Theron (thrown), in Monster. She was amazing in that. A friend of mine met the real Aileen Wornos at a bat called Froggies in Daytona Beach when he was working construction in Florida, but we were friends in Houston. Very scary
