What happens to Starlight at the end of The Boys Season 4 Episode 7?
Toward the end of The Boys Season 4 Episode 7, titled “The Insider,” it is revealed that the new shape-shifting Supe has abducted Annie and is now pretending to be her in front of The Boys. She even becomes sexually intimate with Hughie while appearing as Annie and wearing her superhero suit.
Meanwhile, Homelander learns that A-Train was the mole all along and fires Sister Sage after she reveals that she knew about it. Early in the episode, Marvin decides to reinstate Butcher as the leader of the Boys in his place because of the panic attack he suffered in the previous episode. But, he has a discussion with A-Train about this, and the two men come to Butcher and Annie’s rescue when The Deep and Black Noir II come for them on Homelander’s orders.
Frenchie and Kimiko reconcile, but Kimiko gets stabbed with the Supe-killing virus by Sameer, who manages to escape. Who is the Shapeshifter and what are her powers in The Boys Season 4 Episode 7?
The penultimate episode doesn’t provide the name of the shape-shifting Supe. We also don’t know what the character’s original form is. Unlike Doppelganger, who could transform into any person without touching them, this new Supe needs to have physical contact. Every time they turn into a new person, it seems that they must rip away the skin of their former disguise It’s possible that they are the show’s version of Malchemical from the comics.
