In the earlier scene he spoke about how he became bitter and rageful and didn't want the younger one to be like him.
He lost his mom to pancreatic cancer between eyes of tammy faye and tick tick boom, then he shot for spiderman. I bet he used that emotional build up for this scene.
It doesn't matter to anyone but when Spiderman failed to save Gwen Stacy I cried from sadness and when he saved Michele jones.. I cried of joy

Andrew deserves his third film 😢
At 0:51, he opens his mouth in shock and disbelief that it actually worked, that this time he was able to save someone when he couldn't save Gwen. His crying afterward, then hearing a reassuring response after he asks "Are you ok?" and then crying harder and hanging his head slightly, only adds to the emotion

This is one of the best scenes ever to be created in the Marvel Universe. In this scene, Noobs would Laugh, Pros would be sad but Legends would cry. From my childhood, I've seen every Spiderman Movies including Tobey, Andrew and Tom. Spiderman is one of my favorite characters or superhero of the Marvel Universe. This scene I cried as I remembered Andrew trying to save Gwen, but it wasn't accomplished. But, he is a true and good person as he didn't wanted to see Tom end up like him. He wanted Tom to have a better future with MJ. I was so sad for Andrew as he is alone. Tobey has MJ, Tom has MJ but Andrew doesn't. And he lived Single, he didn't date anyone. This showed how much he loved Gwen❤

I really hope Andrew Garfield comes back with another Spiderman movie, maybe a dark one. In this movie he did mention that for a while he stopped pulling his punches and started getting bitter.
