Don’t need any superpowers to instill fear when you’re a dad protecting his daughter. Seriously though, is there another actor who could pull this scene off the way Michael Keaton did? There are so few who can be genuinely intimidating on screen like him.
The most innacurate thing in the Marvel Cinematic universe is that those NY drivers didn't immediately blast him on their horns the second the light turned green
Never understood why would Peter be scared of him in the car. He dodges bullets by intinct he's 100x more powerful than him, like just hold him off and call Happy or Tony quick ending
That detail in 1:02 when the green light hit his face implying his costume in the comics as the vulture takes over and the red light indicates that he ( Peter ) was a threat for obvious reason. Damn.
2:05 i love the way he shrugs after saying “of all the reasons I didn’t want my daughter to date”. It felt very genuine. Like “of all the freaking reasons, who knew her boyfriend would turn out to be freakin SPIDER-MAN” 😂😂 dude killed his performance in this scene
MEh , this does not work cause Vulture is just a human, while peter has so much strength and hes so fast, its weird that he let himself to be intimidated but i guess its for script reasons, in real life there is no way a regular dood has leverage on a man with as much power as peter has, not a chance of this happening, in split second hed be disarmed in that car and hed never know what happen, hes without his vulture suit.
1:03 When the green light hit his face, I wonder if that was a reference to Green Goblin. Or, the red shining on his face was him debating if Peter was Spider-Man but the green light was the moment of realization for him.
also I feel like Peter underestimates the power of pulling the dead parent card bc if he just said "yeah my aunt needed my help with something and couldn't ask anyone else" that would've explained things so fast and gotten them to instantly drop the subject
“Oh, and Peter, one more thing.
I’m Batman.”
This is just Batman vs Spiderman
Best acting in mcu by far
I really HISHE's take on this scene.

It's not a good idea to threaten Spider-man's family.
Peter seemed more afraid of Keaton's character than Thanos 😂
Peter should’ve threatened to tell his daughter he dad is really Batman
Liz: Don't let him intimidate you
Peter: But he's Batman. 😦
1:38 I don't know how did I notice before, but it's funny how right after she says that, he pulls out a gun 💀
Blud doesn’t understand he isn’t talking to just a kid …. That kid can end his life right there and then if he wanted just with a slap 😂
That’s such a good scene

This scene shocked me as a kid
Now 7 1/2 years later still does
Peter could crush him like nothing if he wasn't so nice.
Dont mess with me kid…
Why?
BECAUSE I'M BATMAN!!!!!!!
WHAAAAAA?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
THIS IS NOT THE VULTURE TALKING IT'S THE BAT
If spider man let him slide for being his girl he would eventually try asking Peter to help him on missions and corrupting him
this is why top ACTORS with this amount of skill need to be villain's. better actor the bad guy is the better the movie is.
Damn Keaton know how play villain and good guy.
bro is driving a Jag, has a big house in suburbs and his motivation for crime is he needs money
Batman threats Spiderman
This scene is more entertaining than all of The Marvels, Captain Marvel, and the She-Hulk series combined.
This movie felt in some ways like a return to the iron man 1-style MCU, and i think that's why i like it (and the other spider-man movies) so much
Gosh he's close to use da fekkin Batman voice
Dads today are crazy! They are the Boomers with Fittef hats backwards trying to
start fights.

close the door

The light turning green the second he realises Peter is Spider-Man is so cool.
I'm Batman

I do love how the lights both go from stop to go, but also from Spiderman's main colour, red, to vultures main colour of green.
There couldn't have been a better villain for this than Michael Keaton. He easily plays the smartest supervillain in the entire MCU.
Vulture: “I’ll kill you and everybody you love”
Peter: “I love your daughter”
Vulture: “ well uhh… damn it”
