I love how the scene shifts from comforting to impending dread, whenever that phone rings and she answers, realizing that its the therapist on the phone, and the person in front of her isn't who she thought it was. Then that smile comes and comfort is thrown right out the window.
~I think that the creature voice kinda ruined the fear the scene caused.
This entity really liked grabbing her face.
This movie was so dark…. It left an unsettling feeling in me. Not sure how else to explain it other than to say it made me not want to watch it again because it just felt demonic on a level I haven’t felt in any other movie. It bothered my soul..

Ok it’s not just the scares and unsettling smiles it’s the build up , the cast , story , direction and delimas the lead is facing . That “ scare moment is just the cherry on top and without the rest of it many fail to provide this level of film making in horror lately . Smile and talk to me best current horror movies I seen in a long time . Directors take notes !
