The movie is brilliant and got me to open my eyes a bit on how a lot of the UAPs/UFOs we see today change shape.

I like how as the movie progresses, particular in this scene, we see more and more of JJ's soft tissue, which makes its organic nature more evident
I have an unlikely theory about Jean Jacket.
Simple: It becomes what it eats.
Not like visually, but mentally. It doesn't like to be looked at, and if you see how OJ and Em got fired, it was because Scorpion King was shown a reflection of himself, which made it look like Scorpion King was being looked at.
Another thing: Since it ate humans, it learns. You know how you don't like a food someone shared with you, and when you have the option to try it again a couple days later, you know you still don't like it? Same thing applies with the colored flags that Jean Jacket doesn't like. He first ate the horse statue with the flags, and it caused him to vomit all the contents and people from the Star Lasso Experience. He saw it again when OJ pulled it out behind him, and Jean Jacket completely flipped to it's side to get out of the way.
The fact that JJ can swallow a human in seconds, but the previous group was there for hours is insane, it has this sadistic predatory behaviour
I think this movie handled the "monster has a specific way to hunt that can strategically be used against it" concept better than A Quiet Place.
I like that the saucer is not a perfect circle. It looks more organic.

I love the detail that JJ's body is like an echo chamber, amplifying the screams so they can be heard from the ground. Jordan Peele actually made an alien that's scarier than the Xenomoph on his first try and I love it.
People don’t get why it need you to look at it, it reflects prey via the whites of your eyes hence white oj put the “eyes” on his hoodie and why he accidentally got the tmz reporter killed

I think the thing's GI system are definitely designed to hold its food over a period of time with enough air movements to amplify the acoustics of the captured to allow it to hunt its next victim. Add odd gastrointestinal fluids to induce explicit pain without fully digesting the victims or something similar and you have the recipe for a nightmarish way to die.
Some people posits that it could mimic voices. I don't think so, it doesn't even have a proper throat or even voice box to make noise.

A lot of predators like to provoke their prey to keep the predatory response going. If the prey slows down, so does the impulse to hunt.

I don't understand the plan. Somehow OJ figures out that the UFO will only eat you if you look at it and he also somehow figures out that a parachute streamer will instantly prevent it from eating you? It ate the motorcycle guy with the helmet and it couldn't even see his eyes.
Michael Abels was truly snubbed of an Oscar nod! The music in this scene gives me chills every single time!

I really love Daniel Kayluuyas character in this because he’s a horse trainer he adapts learns and understand Jean jackets behavior pretty quickly
