Netflix’s New Series Tribhuvan Mishra CA Topper Trailer Gives Plot Sneak Peek 

Netflix has finally released the trailer of the highly anticipated series Tribhuvan Mishra: CA Topper, starring Manav Kaul. Created by the makers behind Mirzapur, the promo promises a wild and chaotic ride filled with humor, suspense, and action.

Tribhuvan Mishra: CA Topper emerges as the next binge-watch-worthy series from Puneet Krishna, who, after scripting Mirzapur, has transitioned to Netflix to explore new thematic territories. The series delves into the life of Tribhuvan Mishra, played by Manav Kaul, a chartered accountant entangled in financial difficulties. His unconventional solution? Becoming a gigolo by night under the pseudonym “CA Topper,” all while navigating the complexities of family life with a wife who is a cake maker and their two children.

The recently released trailer reveals Tribhuvan’s dual life spiraling out of control when one of his regular clients (Tillotama Shome) turns out to be married to a notorious gangster (Shubhrajyoti Barat). The ensuing drama unfolds with Tribhuvan caught in a cat-and-mouse chase, providing a rich mix of suspense and dark humor.

“Tribhuvan Mishra’s transformation, driven by desperation and the need to survive, gave us a rich canvas to play with themes of ethics, survival, and those tricky unintended consequences,” revealed creator Puneet Krishna. “Writing this series was all about striking the perfect balance between humor and the serious choices he has to make. I can’t wait for everyone to meet Tribhuvan and his crazy world.”

The show, produced by Ram Sampath and directed by Amrit Raj and Puneet Krishna, boasts a stellar ensemble cast. Alongside Kaul, Barat, and Shome, the series also features Shweta Basu Prasad, Sumit Gulati, Naresh Gosain, and Naina Sareen. Faisal Malik and Ashok Pathak round out the cast of Netflix’s new series. 

With its unique combination of humor, action, and suspense, Tribhuvan Mishra: CA Topper will be released on July 18, 2024.
