  1. This wasn't originally in the script, tom hardy and charlize started fighting because they hate each other and George Miller decided kept the fight on the film

  2. One of the best fight scenes I have ever seen. I like how the film never pretends that a one-armed woman can beat a healthy man on a level playing field, but cleverly balances the engagement with help from others, tactical moves, use of improvised weaponry and so on.

Also I love the details that make it look so real:

    – When Max is shielding himself with the car door, one of Furiosa's swings actually bends the metal frame. Those are real blows using a pair of heavy bolt cutters.
    – When the magazine is ejected from the gun, there is correctly still one round left in the chamber.
    – When that round is fired, the shot leaves a dent in the War Rig's side.
    – When Nux helps Max re-insert the magazine, Max has to slide the the gun to chamber another round before firing those three warning shots.

  3. I wish more scenes with short unspoken alliances happened like with Max and Nux. Max hates Nux but also realizes if he doesn’t work with him at the time, they’re both gonna die.

  4. I swear Charlize Theron has one of the most powerful female voices in Hollywood, all of her yelling and grunting during this fight has so much aggression behind it and lets you know right away that this woman is one of the mightiest people in this world

  5. Nux finally wakes up after nearly having his hand blown off by Max and after a few seconds he’s like “oh okay I guess me and the bloodbag are fighting Furiosa…”

  6. Is no one gonna talk about the ringing that happens after the bullet in chamber is fired? I applaud the sound team & Miller for finding new ways to detail this film. Not only does it make it more gripping and engaging, but it’s truthful to the moment. Gosh, I love this film!

  7. 1:01 I love that scene. The camera is focused on the bolt cutters, just like Max is, until the girl moves just enough that we can see Furiosa coming in like a freight train while he’s distracted.
