  1. It's interesting how it seems that people love this or hate this. I love it. Personally, I think the imperfections are what make it perfect. Her character is in a deep state of suffering, bordering on sobbing. She sounds exactly how she is supposed to.

  3. hearing this again as an adult and actually understanding the lyrics because my heart has been torn out…because I am incapable of moving on from him…I don't want the river to just be a river…

  4. The sound of the whole movie is awful. Having seen the musical on stage numerous times makes me think that the makers haven't. They could have given the voices a tiny bit of hall to make the voices sound fuller. But this is just dry sound. It makes the movie almost unwatchable.
