Latest Update on WWE SmackDown Schedule

The upcoming edition of WWE SmackDown is set to feature major stars like Cody Rhodes, Logan Paul, LA Knight, and many more for the fans. The event will take place at the CHI Health Center Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.

This week’s SmackDown will feature a match between Carmelo Hayes and Andrade. Their feud ignited last week on SmackDown when Hayes confronted Andrade, setting the stage for a showdown this Friday. Also appearing on the show is LA Knight, who has been challenging Logan Paul for a shot at the United States Championship. Despite Paul consistently denying Knight an opportunity, Paul will be making an appearance this Friday.

The WWE Undisputed Champion, Cody Rhodes, will address the Bloodline’s vicious attack on his mentor, Randy Orton. Orton was recently taken out by the faction, who left Rhodes tied to the ropes while they assaulted him as Rhodes watched helplessly.

With WWE already showcasing these stars, fans can anticipate more match announcements in the days ahead. PWInsider reports that WWE will tape two episodes of SmackDown on Friday, July 19, in Omaha, Nebraska. However, WWE will also tape the July 26 episode right after the show at the same venue.

Why WWE is taping next week’s SmackDown?

PWInsider recently reported that WWE will tape the upcoming edition of WWE SmackDown in Nebraska, along with next week’s episode. The decision to tape both shows stems from WWE’s scheduled travel to Japan that weekend.

The promotion is set to embark on a series of three Super Show live events across Japan, starting with Osaka on July 25 and continuing with shows in Tokyo on July 26 and 27. Interestingly, SmackDown will be pre-recorded for its July 26 episode due to these travel commitments. However, WWE Raw on July 29 remains unaffected and is scheduled to take place live from St. Paul, Minnesota.
