This movie was released when I was like 13 yo and it is the reason of why I have an obsession for the colored photography, the care of the landscapes for my photos and my like for the vintage and modern things
Emma Stone, brillante, su encanto te dice que es una de las mejores actrices de su generación! Directa al pabellón de las actrices de culto!! ❤ Momentazooo 1:08 📽💛👌
Agree to disagree? IMo, I LIKED the female character Emma played. She was supposed to be a nice girl – her girlfriends liked her( she was fun and nice), her original boyfriend liked her, and Seb liked her when he got over himself enough to get to know her- she seemed kind and fun. ( Too “run of the mill” for you? Well, personally, I generally like nice people-) And I understood that she was very passionate- passionate at being an actress- and I understood that that was because she grew up loving movies! And the people in them – the glamor… the clothes… everything that goes with that. As they used to say, she had “ stars in her eyes”! And she ( the character) was talented at it – at conveying characters and stories- as evidenced by the emotional audition when someone was supposedly breaking up with her. So natural in conveying that shock and heartbreak! I think you just related more to Seb’s character and enjoyed it more. I admired him and Ryan portraying him – very much, but I personally could relate to Emma’s character, and I think she did a great job portraying a nice girl with stars in her eyes! – AND real talent, although she lost self esteem along the way- just like millions of people in real life who want to act but hit a brick wall. -To me, both Emma and Ryan were completely believable and likeable in their roles and did a wonderful job at conveying this story! But of course, some will like one better, and others will like the other better! I say, both great!
"Tainted love" is playing during the scene when Seb is looking for Mia afterwards she requested 'I ran'. Both the name of the song and the lyrics foreshadow their relationship. Also the lyrics start with 'Sometimes I feel I have to run away' .
We fell in love with Emma Stone
Strange that she doesn’t ask his name when he asks for hers. In fact he never introduces himself by name to her onscreen.
Thanks 🙂
3 songs. One Norwegian, one English, and one American… all 3 from the 80s…. interesting….
