Kagurabachi chapter 41 recap

The latest chapter begins with the audience being awed by the clash between Kyora and Chichiro. Meanwhile, Kyora notices that either the blade’s original user or the sword intended to possess him. However, he refuses to go down without a fight. 

While the audience basks in Shinuchi’s power, Kyora reveals new techniques that overwhelm Chihiro, but Hiyuki arrives just in time to save him. She informs the protagonist that Hakuri has filled her in on the situation. She then goes on to mock the swordsman for his current look. Chihiro tells her about the prisoners and that they are the priority.

However, to release the prisoners, they must first deal with Kyora. She tells him that the only way to withstand the Shinuchi’s attack is through Enkotsu. The protagonist shows the Kamunabi sorcerer that he could use Enkotsu, which stuns her.

He tells her that his Aka can temporarily use abilities it has absorbed. Chihiro uses it to attack Kyora, but he dodges it and counters it with a terrifying move of his own. Meanwhile, at the auction house, Kyora’s image starts the bidding for the blade at one billion.
