This entire piece moves me so much: the dancing, Anderson's singing, the awesome bass playing by Alan Spenner, and wonderful Baayork Lee (angel in front at 0:55, 1:20, and 1:28). Like many of you, I love the panning camera at 1:52, but my favorite shot is the righthand white-afroed dancer stopping and smiling into Judas's eyes at 0:37. I once found her name, but have since lost it.
Jesus had a mission to die for all humanity so we could be able to return to our heavenly Father in heaven because without him we wouldn't be able to leave the natural man and become perfect like God and Jesus.
Heart wrenching Every single time I watch this. Ted Neely perfectly captures the anguish, trepidation, doubt, even anger. Jesus the man in conflict with what he understands to be his calling & purpose. It's this love of life & reluctance to die that makes his submission a true SACRIFICE And all the more precious a gift.
"You'd have managed better if you had a plan," sings Judas. He cared about the mission enough to argue with his teacher. Thing is, it's God's plan that Jesus was following, not his own. Hence the agony in the garden. (that scene always makes me cry).

Who’s here in 2024??
The dancers, costumes and Carl's voice make this performance a historical performance
For by grace you are saved through faith ❤️✝️
The emotion in Carl's voice and facial expressions just gives me goosebumps. The best Judas ever ❤

I love when the girls walk in before Judas follows because all I imagine is the scene being bombed by Cuzco walking in going "Boom, baby!"
Amazing
My understanding of the story of jesus is this mixed with the book "lamb"
Masterpiece !
Carried his own
Great rock opera with amazing singers.I would place this piece in school education.
😊 Oh, he doesn't have the voice, but he makes a fascinating Phantom!

Maravillosa voz de Carl Anderson RIP.
Today, 2024, we're, well, given the times, I can't say, BUT…
Such a great song.
Mary Magdalene was truly Jesus's most faithful disciple.
