Frank Grillo Vows to Break the System in Exclusive Hounds of War Clip

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Hounds of War clip, previewing the upcoming action movie starring Frank Grillo, which will be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting on September 20, 2024.

“Frank Grillo, Robert Patrick, and Rhona Mitra star in Hounds of War about the best military mercenaries money can buy. Known as ‘The Hounds’, they are sent on a final mission by their creator: a carefully planned trap set up to destroy them,” says the synopsis.

What happens in the Hounds of War clip?

The clip previews Frank Grillo’s character, a mercenary of war, being interrogated. Grillo’s character then says he’s going after those beyond Colonel Hart (Robert Patrick), whom he blames for what’s happened to him. The clip ends with Grillo saying he’s going to “break the system” despite being told it is impossible.

The film is directed by Isaac Florentine from a screenplay written by Jean Pierre Magro. Joining Grillo are Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgement Day), Rhona Mitra (Doomsday), Steven Elder (The King), Yvonne Mai (Vikings: Valhalla), Joey Ansah (The Bourne Ultimatum), Lee Charles (Gangs of London), Mark Strange (Ip Man 4), Raha Rahbari (Blackbird), Leeshon Alexander (Blood on the Crown) and more.

Besides Hounds of War, Grillo is currently attached to star in the upcoming horror thriller Werewolves with Katrina Law and Lou Diamond Phillips, which is expected to debut sometime this year. He’s also set to portray the role of Rick Flag Sr. in the Creature Commandos animated series and the David Corenswet-led Superman movie, upcoming highly-anticipated DC Studios projects.
