Final Alien: Romulus Trailer Shows More of the Xenomorph

The final Alien: Romulus trailer is out, previewing more of the upcoming horror sequel and more of what the Xenomorph in the movie will look like.

What happens in the Alien: Romulus trailer?

The latest Alien: Romulus trailer shows off much more of the story for the film than previous videos did. It’s revealed that the reason the group of young scavengers are on the Romulus is to steal parts in an effort to get out of their current places in life.

Things quickly take a turn, however, as the group finds themselves up against an alien threat. The new trailer also shows off more of what the Xenomorph in the film will look like and more of the terrifying tentacles of the facehugger.

Check out the new Alien: Romulus trailer below (watch other clips and trailers):

Alien: Romulus will be the seventh official entry in the Alien franchise (or the ninth, including the crossover movies with the Predator franchise) following 1979’s Alien, 1986’s Aliens, 1992’s Alien 3, 1997’s Alien Resurrection, 2004’s Alien vs. Predator, 2007’s Aliens vs Predator: Requiem, 2012’s Prometheus, and 2017’s Alien: Covenant. The new film is set between the events of Alien and Aliens.

“While scavenging the deep ends of a derelict space station, a group of young space colonizers come face to face with the most terrifying life form in the universe,” the synopsis for the movie reads.

Alien: Romulus will be the fourth film directed by Fede Álvarez. It’s from a screenplay he co-wrote with Rodo Sayagues based on characters made by Dan O’Bannon and Ronald Shusett. The film’s cast includes Cailee Spaeny (Priscilla), David Jonsson (Agatha Christie’s Murder is Easy), Archie Renaux (Shadow and Bone), Isabela Merced (The Last of Us), Spike Fearn (Aftersun), and Aileen Wu. Alien and Prometheus director/creator Ridley Scott is producing alongside Michael Pruss and Walter Hill.
