Culver City, California and Dallas, Texas (October 3, 2024) – Crunchyroll Presents: The Anime Effect has been nominated in two categories for The Signal Awards! In collaboration with Sony Music, the podcast crew has been hard at work creating the premiere podcast exploring pop culture with an anime lens.

The show has received a nod in the Best New Podcast category alongside other incredible shows from the likes of CNN, Trevor Noah, and MarketWatch. Additionally, The Anime Effect co-hosts Nicholas Friedman, Leah President, and LeAlec Murray have earned a nomination for Best Co-Host Team (Pop Culture) alongside great hosting teams such as Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamolodchikova, Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang, and Lauren Lapkus and Nicole Byer.
