LOS ANGELES – August 29, 2024 – MapleStory, Nexon’s popular, side-scrolling 2D MMORPG, has released its latest update which features BUGCAT CAPOO and friends in their return to Maple World as they embark on an all-new, limited-time adventure. Players can now join in on the fun through October 1 at 4:59 p.m. PDT/7:59 p.m. EDT.
Players help BUGCAT CAPOO by completing daily missions throughout the event. They also explore various locales where they will face fierce, yet very cute, enemies. Once a certain amount of monsters have been defeated, DOGDOG’s magic will assist with supportive buffs.
In the Grand Dungeon Adventure, players encounter a daily dungeon where they must complete specific goals. They will receive special items such as the Turtle Bus Mount coupon, BUGCAT CAPOO-themed chat emoticons and chair, as well as a CAPOO Lover Medal after they clear a set amount of missions. In addition, players will receive a support skill, up to five times, that helps conquer a set amount of monsters based on which area of the dungeon they are in. This skill can be triggered after defeating 100 monsters.
Players can visit the Cash Shop for an updated collection of BUGCAT CAPOO goodies and pick up outfits, chairs, pets and more, all designed to feature his charming style.
BUGCAT CAPOO is a much loved character who resembles a cross between a chubby blue cat and a bug with six legs. He is a house pet who loves meat that lives with his owner LALA and the seemingly immortal DOGDOG.
