Bringing You a New Racing Experience: ‘Hyper Torque Racing’ for Nintendo Switch Supports Online Multiplayer & First Anniversary Sale is Underway

Granzella Inc. (Ishikawa, Japan) will release a major update (ver. 1.0.3) of its Nintendo Switch game
software “Hyper Torque Racing” on July 25, 2024.
The update brings online multiplayer support with up to six players.

“Hyper Torque Racing” is a racing game with simple visuals but offers a deep and realistic racer
experience.
The latest update adds multiplayer support.
Online multiplayer lets you play against players from afar as well as random players, while local
multiplayer allows up to four people nearby to play against each other.
You will get more heated races.

In addition, two new functions have been added to the settings to make racing more comfortable and
enjoyable. Moreover, badges are now available for race victories and gameplay achievements.

New features added in the update (ver. 1.0.3)

Multiplayer
▲Local multiplayer lets nearby friends bring their
software and play against each other with two to four players.
(Each player needs a Nintendo Switch console and the game software to play the game.)

▲Online multiplayer lets 2 to 6 players worldwide
play against each other.

Badges
◀ Badges can be unlocked based on race wins and
gameplay achievements. Let’s complete all badges!

“Day / Night” added to the weather during the race
▲ The sky gradually darkens, and the day
turns into night.”Day” and “Night” options are
now available in addition to the existing
“Sunny” and “Rainy” weather.

▲ Even on the same course, the atmosphere changes at night. It does not negatively affect the course and offers a different racing experience.

the racer’s ability is directly reflected in their
ranking.

▲ Weather “Rain” race.
The course is slippery and requires more fine-tuned maneuvering on curves.

Functions during a race
◀ Brake Assist
When approaching a corner, the brake is automatically
enabled. This feature can help before you know brake
force and timing.
You can turn it on and off in “Settings.”

◀ Steering Type
The controller’s stick and the degree of tilt of the steering
wheel will be linked, allowing for finer control of the
steering wheel.
You can switch between linear (linked state) and soft
(normal state) in “Settings.”
