Everyone hated this movie… It was utterly, dark and horrifying… but it was honestly, a FANTASTIC super villain origin / horror story. What was it that people were expecting instead?
This scene got me so emotional. Like I was crying for two hours because of this scene. I really wished the ending was a happy ending, you know. Like Tori would’ve still been alive and tried to guide Brandon the right path and Brandon actually becomes the good Superman and not Brightburn. But that’s just my opinion.
I love how a few people have mentioned how happy they are about the attention to detail with all the scars on her face, and yet completely forget that she would've been in some moderate pain from altitude sickness but that isn't shown
Tbh he wouldn’t have killed her if the dad didn’t try to kill him in the woods, the whole movie Brandon kinda plays with his kills like he enjoys it but after the hunting trip he immediately went for the kills and throughout the whole movie he showed restraint with his family until they actively tried to kill him, not saying he’s good it’s just interesting to think about
Wish they would make a sequel to this film, and make a whole new "superhero universe." Where it was the mortals having to deal with the evil like gods. Keeping a sort of Clash of a Titans feel. But in modern times where the superhero beings are inherently evil. And man has to use technology to fight a war against them. Would be something different. Actually, think for a sequel made in the next few years, Jacob Tremblay would be a great pick.
Reverend Jesse Duplantis says: And i was sucked on up out my room like…..uhhhh!
1:40 part looks like Reverend Jesse Duplantis being lifted up in 1988 from inside of his room
The actor of the kid looks like he could be a grantchild of the actor that played jigsaw.
This movie was good i think it was too disturbing what if superman was just evil. And he was coddled by his enabling mom
Let’s go Brandon!
Evil
what a stupid movie lol
Why is everyone so stupid in this movie? Did she really think that was gonna work?
She was fixing and talking him down emotionally
If she didnt try killing him, maybe brandon would still be good. Today
this guy is building level any other superman copy is slamming him low diff trash character
Boring movie
The son homelander wanted 😂
Wouldn't be me. My baby boy gonna take over the world and make mama proud 💀💀💀
This weird kid doesnt kill his bullies but everyone else, r3tarded alien
he looks like lil mabu
This is the only movie that ever made me scared and I haven’t even watched it! By watching these clips alone this movie is terrifying
I think the bad choices his parents did also affect his final transformation to this little monster
He probably saw BTS in the plane hence he chose to end it.
skdfsaef
Should've taken lessons from Arya

Dont…. Save…..MARTHA
Why does the mom's face go from not bloody to bloody over the course of 5 seconds as they're flying up in the air?
Now you see trash talking a 12 year old wasn't wrong
She had no chance of stopping him.
I’m back here to ask why didn’t they add him to Mortal Kombat?

Why do i feel like she really could've convinced him to do good if she didn't say it to lower his guard
If she hadn’t thought of stabbing her son, She would’ve live, the ending would’ve been better, and things should’ve gotten better
This is the son homlander always wanted
Franzis & Eif.
Movie was trash

This movie is basically about a kid who threw a temper tantrum because his dad wouldn’t give him the rifle his uncle gave him for his birthday.
If Goku didn’t hit his head on a rock:
Mom was the longest victim suffering

Except for 1978's Superman I don't care for superhero movies — except for this "anti-superhero" movie! Gosh but I wish there'd been a sequel.
After he dropped her he turn directly at the plane than completely catches reck after he rids his foster parents I love this movie
I watched the last 10 minutes of this movie last night. Scariest thing I ever saw.
Somehow I don’t like this guy

2:21 the T-1000 music begins
Batman was right
I hate this movie 💩💩💩
Instead of betraying your son's trust, you should have sent him away.
