It knows how to end life quickly, and in case it decides to toy you around, it literally can.
If it grabs you anywhere, it's not gonna release the bite unless that chunk of you is separated, and it would happen before you know it.
The plot armor is insane. Not to mention these lions move unimaginably slow.

I really want to know this. Would a male lion go into a territory where there are two males defending the territory? If a single I understand. But even when they were first attacked, the guide was shocked the rogue lion was there. I never heard of a male fighting the alpha(unless it was the offspring looking to dethrone)

Honestly a really good film. The characters were fantastic. The graphics Are amazing. The villain has a pretty good backstory (the lion) and just the action is some of the best i have seen
I hope Idris Elba got paid well for this movie because compared to the Thor movies, this… thing… is unbelievable.
Everyone realizes that if a lion bites you to hurt/kill you, they'll crush your bones, not just play with you. They're probably not going to just bite your shirt. I'd bet on an African lion over a grizzly bear (but not a polar bear). Grizzly bears may hunt young or weakened deer, caribou, and elk, but a lion doesn't need them young or weak and, at least with a pack, hunts much bigger and more dangerous prey.
This is so fake that it's revolting, like misleading people into thinking this could ever happen. While I could believe a human could take on a lion if the human knew what they were doing and were trained and had the right tools, it would look nothing like this.
Are we really meant to believe that a man who gets mauled by a lion and repeatedly turned on his back can still stab the lion multiple times with a knife? As if a lion's claws wouldn't rip a man open with a single swipe!
