Moreover, the official MCU timeline book also confirmed that Scarlet Witch died at the end of the latest Doctor Strange film. It mentions her death occurring in the Fall of 2024. Because the Fall season is mentioned, it lines up with the above October date.

The synopsis mentions a “suspicious goth teen,” very likely referring to Joe Locke’s character, who is reportedly playing Billy Kaplan. In Marvel Comics, Kaplan is one of Wanda Maximoff’s sons. It also mentions him begging Agatha to take him to the Witches’ Road and the survival of the magical gauntlet of trials posed by the Witches’ Road, rewarding a witch or magic user with something they are missing.
Thus, if the MCU makes Billy a reincarnation or real version of Wanda’s son and he survives the gauntlet and gets rewarded with something he is missing, he could very likely be the key to bringing Wanda back from the dead.
