If the Shoe Fits to Conclude Tour at Anime NYC with Exciting Lineup of Events and Performances Anime NYC – August 22-25, 2024
NEW YORK, NY — NYC Hip Hop Collective, If the Shoe Fits (ITSF) will be making the final stop of their tour at Anime NYC from August 23-25th. The group is set to fill the week with appearances and performances, showcasing their fun-hearted, anime-loving personalities. Justin Roblero and his team at Afroproductions will be filming a documentary focusing on pure black joy and the popularization of Anime in the US by showcasing the events throughout the weekend. The film will also be teasing ITSF’s new music video for ‘Almighty Zeus – Remix’ ft. Sunzi & Toasty Marshmellow to give fans a meta immersive experience.
Friday, August 23rd:
● Panel Discussion on Black Representation in Anime: Join ITSF alongside Rena from SMJ, Justin from Ontuka, and Greg from Lan Party. This panel will delve into important discussions about diversity and representation in anime. ● Weeb Mingle: Following the panel, ITSF will host the Weeb Mingle event featuring guest stars Cam Steady and Gameboy Jones. This event, perfect for fans of music, gaming, and manga, will run from 5:30-7pm.
Saturday, August 24th:
● AniBusiness and AniMusic vs. Nerdcore Panel: ITSF will return as panelists with Rena from SMJ, Toasty, Ten, Cam Steady, and Gameboy Jones to discuss the intersection of business and music within the anime and nerdcore communities.
● Plastic Love: A Japanese City Pop Party: ITSF will bring back one of their most epic events. This party will feature performances by various artists, including Magical Girl Bre and ITSF members Grant and Katharsis.
Sunday, August 25th:
● LAN Party at Webster Hall: To conclude the week, ITSF will perform at Webster Hall as part of the LAN Party event. The lineup will include beloved artists such as Kee The Weeb, Kiko, and Mako Girls. ITSF will perform hits from their newest album, “A Slice of Life.”
