There are less than five chapters left until the end of the My Hero Academia manga. Fans are excited to see what Kohei Horikoshi will do next. The spoilers for My Hero Academia chapter 428, titled “A Girl Who Loves Smiles,” were recently released, and it is safe to say that fans are in for a treat.
The chapter picks up where the previous one left off, with the first-year girls explaining how they started like Bakugo and Todoroki. However, Iida criticizes them, as they are still recovering from the war. The girls then apologize for their actions.
Shinso assumed Bakugo liked this kind of attention, given his personality. However, Deku tells him that girls mostly avoided him before, so he must not be used to it. Meanwhile, Kaminari and Mineta were jealous of the both of them. One of the first-year students approached Deku, telling him he wanted to be like him. Leaving the hero flustered and confused as he remembered his conversation with Spinner.
Meanwhile, in the teacher’s room, Mic told Ectoplasm that Aizawa had rejected another interview request for Class 2A. Ectoplasm highlighted that some students, like Mineta, would want the attention. However, Aizawa remained adamant in his decision.
The class is sent to participate in the reconstruction with the other pro heroes. Bakugo then asks EdgeShot if he is going to remain like that. Edgeshot told him not to worry and that he would be back better than ever. Civilians arrive to help serve lunch to the heroes. One of them approaches Deku and tells him their plantation was destroyed.
Deku immediately apologized. However, they corrected Deku, telling him they were not blaming him. After seeing their fight, they were inspired to do something on their own. Later, the first years arrived and apologized for their actions earlier. They then decided to help with the reconstruction.
My Hero Academia Chapter 428 Spoiler: Deku Comforts Uraraka
The chapter then shifts its focus to Ochaku as she expresses how happy she is to see everyone smiling. However, Deku and Tsuyu looked at her worryingly. But before they could say anything, she ran off, telling them she would get more food. Uraraka was then eating an Onigiri with a fake smile on her face.
Tsuyu had decided to go home for a while, as students no longer needed to stay in the dorms. However, Uraraka didn’t respond. The chapter then flashes back to the aftermath of Uraraka’s battle with Toga. It reveals that the reporter’s battery had died, so the conclusion was never captured.
Uraraka went to the top of the hill to stare at the city, relieved that the battle was finally over. She loved seeing everyone smiling, so she decided not to ruin the mood and suppressed her feelings. She couldn’t get the image of Toga smiling and crying out of her mind, so she started crying. The spoilers end with Deku arriving to comfort his classmate.
