I expected so much more from this intro scene but the movie was disappointing if I compare it to this scene

The idea of a hawking was pretty cool, but why did it scan its own eye first before using the scientists one in her mouth? Is it because she was checking to see if hers would work before trying the scientists?

I have to say I love how they got variants of the zombies makes things more unique I hope if zombie land 3 comes around we indeed get more whacky varients maybe a Peter griffin to clash a homer, a Bowie that songs like a angel, a scooby soo zombie that's exalty what the name suggest and a zombie dog that mutters gibberish
There's a lot of gore in both movies, but the humor sets this franchise apart, & makes the gore tolerable. If you haven't seen, I recommend it. "Double-tap" too (the sequel). It's a rare example of a sequel that isn't a letdown. There's even a celebrity cameo.

The zombie sneaking in Columbus’s car wouldn’t have made sense without this sequel.

In my mind the hawkings aren’t a natural evolution, they were created in a lab by accident, just like that one by people trying to find a cure for the virus

What’s really interesting about this move is that FEMA was apart of making this movie
kinda felt bad for the homer 🙁
While they didn’t play much into the movie, at least they popped up in more than just the intro:
All three appear in the RV scene, Columbus spots a homer chasing a butterfly, a hawking climbs up the RV using the ladder and a ninja crawls from under the RV.
We later see a Homer at the end of the movie.
Fun Fact: 🤓 Zombie land was originally going to take place in the Left 4 Dead universe, but valve the nutcasses they are was not buyin’ it.

I like how they show the Hawking test the door with his own eye first, as if he's confirming his hypothesis. Like "…not just any eyeball. What about this eyeball then-"
You've got to love the nod to Jurassic Park when he says "clever girl" 😀
