  2. Both this version of Pennywise and the original one from the 1990 miniseries do an interesting job to bring the book character to life. But I have to say that this version of Pennywise did something that Tim Curry's didn't. This Pennywise took longer with Its scares. It brought suspense. It did this to make the fear in the victims grow that way they will taste better by the time it's time to eat. The scares in the miniseries seemed to be just a bit too quick. Pennywise in these movies chose to savor the moment, but also to make sure Its food were ripe enough. This scene alone shows how much Pennywise wanted to make sure that the children were scared enough before It would eat any of them. Instead of just popping out of nowhere to do a jumpscare, Pennywise terrified Eddie by crawling all twisted out of the refrigerator, walking slowly to Eddie, and pretending to bite his hand. This act of terror was basically a prelude before the Losers would realize during the climax that Pennywise won't eat them if they're not afraid.

  3. In the book, Ben would show to the Losers the scars of the slashes that Pennywise did to his stomach 27 years later, along with the scar of the "H" that Henry caused. I wish they did that for Chapter Two to show that the blood oath scar isn't the only thing that came back for Ben.
