He chose not to patent the vaccine, so that it could be distributed to the world as quickly as possible. For his work, he received a presidential citation and various awards, though he didn’t particularly care for fame as much as doing more medical research.

Isaac Hirsch was once again the winner of Jeopardy, though he was very much in danger of losing the match given that Mike wasn’t far behind him before Final Jeopardy.

Isaac had $21,500 heading into the final clue and wagered $12,501. After providing the right response, he ended the game with $34,001, leading to an 8-day total of $195,389.

Mike also had the right response, but he only had $17,000 heading into Final Jeopardy. He wagered $4,501 and ended up in second place with $21,501. Ashley was in the negative at -$2,600 before Final Jeopardy, so she was unable to participate.
