This scene and the scene before it really just makes me realize that Ian is the literal personification of having nothing but charisma and wisdom with low to 0 intelligence on his character sheet. XD
I love how they all just prior to this segment, jump out of the moving vehicles (the one fairly safe place they had) and start trekking through random, potentially (in fact, most certainly) inhabited triceratops paddock…. Wild! 😳
I just love Ellie's reaction above any reaction/interaction in the entire franchise. Her tears of joy move me. If i was staring my favorite exotic animal (whale or elephant) in the eye and physically touching it, i would just be so overwhelemed with happiness. And to add to her character, she got STRAIGHT TO WORK in helping aid the poor, sick trike. Examining its saliva, investigating the plant and vegetation, digging SHOULDER-DEEP into dino-droppings!!! It's characters like Ellie's that really got me into zoology/biology growing up. Wildlife deserves EVERY OUNCE of our respect and love❤
That sense of wonder is lacking in the later Jurassic Park movies, they go way too fast at the "monster movie" part of the film and forget the heart part of it.
0:16 the kid comes into the scene smiling and then is supposed to look shocked when the Triceratops moves? To me it just looks like he holds back a yawn and they still decided to keep it in lmao.
Dr malcom is too handsome
Did the Triceratops in the movie recover?
This was apparently the casts first time seeing one of the special effect dinosaurs in person. So their reactions are genuine.
but how did the dino get sick?
My most favorite type of dinosaur.
Highly recommend "The Enormous Egg", fiction for kids. I'm 71 and I still have my copy.
FUN FACT!: during the 1994 JP cleanup they found this same triceratops with tyrannosaurus bite marks in it
sad jurassic park [1993] film – the sick triceratops scene !!!!
The first time i watched this scene with my dad i remember i genuinely thought the triceratops was real thats how good the affects are.
Apparently the executive producer or something like that played Doctor Harding
Poor Doctor Harding never made his boat.

Triceratops is one of my favorite dinosaurs
This scene is better than anything the Jurassic World movies produced

The heart and soul desperately missing from Jurassic World
Grant & Ellie appear to wear the same model of watch
My honest reaction to the entire Jurassic World trilogy: 2:52
“Dino Droppings” as in “Dino Dung”?

Jurassic Park is a year older than I was born.
It’s scary poo could’ve been that large. Must’ve been constipated. BIG TIME
i making a dinosaur with DNA

1:17 is exactly what’s missing from the Jurassic World films
