Leon went out happy, he was on good terms with his boss/friend and for a brief moment he was under the impression it was job well done. When that Crane Cab exploded he wouldn’t have felt a thing.
When I saw that ending with Luis and Robocop says "They'll fix you. They fix everything", I thought for sure we were going to see a female Robocop next.
Kurtwood Smith played one of the greatest villains of the 80s. Even each individual hinchman was memorable. He also gave a great performance in the movie "Fortress" the 1992 movie.
Meanwhile, in another universe… Eric Forman: Who's the dumbass now, dad? Yes, Kurtwood Smith a.k.a Red Forman from That 70's Show was Clarence in Robocop.
The part where Clarance stabs Murphy and he yells out in pain I always felt he did that to lure Clarance in closer so he can give the final blow. Look how fast he switches from pain to YOU’RE MINE! Then delivers the blow. I felt he knew he had to play possum to get him to believe he was truly hurt and near death to sucker him in. That’s just my take.
"I'm not arresting you anymore" was originally the last line of the scene. An earlier draft, which was used for the novel and comic adaption, has Robo holding Boddicker in the air with one hand. Boddicker says "arrest me." And Robo says no, and punches his head off. It got nerfed in the next rewrite. But its still readable in the novel.
I love the Robocop game, but I wish they added that spike punch as a melee option.

Probably the hardest question of all time is what is the best action movie of the 80's. Literally impossible to answer. What a debate that would be

It must be weird being cast for certain roles because of your natural douche quality. Just ask James Woods I guess.
