Metaphor: ReFantazio Surpasses 1 Million Units Sold Worldwide at Launch Today

IRVINE, Calif. – Oct 11, 2024 – ATLUS today announced that factoring in physical and digital pre-orders, as well as early internal sales data, Metaphor: ReFantazio has sold 1 million units globally on its first day of launch. The title went on sale today on Xbox Series X| S, Windows, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Steam and is receiving positive critical reception from press and currently has a metascore of 93 (PS5), 92 (Xbox Series X), and 91 (PC) on Metacritic as of today.

The Metaphor: ReFantazio Digital Deluxe and Digital Standard Editions are available now on all available platforms, and the Collector’s Edition and Physical Standard Editions are available for purchase on select platforms. Players can step foot into Metaphor: ReFantazio’s world and experience the early-game narrative, explore social elements and discover the city with the free Prologue Demo.
