I mean I don’t think mean girls 2024 is a great movie but I think it’s a good musical I guesse I loved how they gave Regina tgat kind of powerful sense not only that but it was like she was stabs child when the lights where flickering it really makes you feel scared if some spoiled brat rich girl lol
Rachel Hamilton fills her inhalier with vodka The principle : how do… Does that work The principle goes to get an inhalier and fills it with vodka and drinks it in meetings pretending he’s out of breath
She looks exactly as fat here as she is at the start, so what exactly is the issue? In the original the kalteen bar plot made sense because Regina was very skinny and Cady used her obsession with being skinnier still to get her to eat the bars, but here it looks like they wanted the character to be "body positive" so they purposefully hired an overweight actress, and she doesn't seem to have any issues with her body at the start of the movie, so why is it a problem now? Either keep Regina skinny or change the candy bar plot to something else.
I never got this far, it was too terrible right from the start. I see I made the right choice. I can't blame Tina Fey for collecting another check, I just hope no one ever sees this as their first version of the story. A perfect example of the neutering of this movie is replacing "I did not leave the South Side for this" with "I did not go to graduate school for this." A funny line replaced with a nonsensical one because Gen Z audiences are perceived as too ignorant and fragile to understand the difference between a joke involving socioeconomic status and one actually promoting racism or classism. This is particularly disappointing when you remember that Tina Fey is actually a master of these types of jokes, which were everywhere in 30 Rock.
2:47 Principal Duvall: “Oh, hell no! I did not go to graduate school for this!” Activates the fire alarm I like the original 2004 one better, but this version is also enjoyable.
I do love the original Mean Girls but I love the new Mean Girls better because it has two of my favorite songs: World Burn and I'd Rather Be Me

what did they do to this song😭😭😭
I prefer the original plan where the pages got copied and plastered all over the school
I don't know what's more wrong. Making this remake to the original classic, or graduating high school at 20
Okay pls don’t hate me but this movie is actually so good
Pyro-lez. Regina is basically calling Janis a hot lesbian
oh hellllllllll nooo no
Maybe it’s just me but I think the actors for Karen and Gretchen should’ve been swapped

“I did not go to graduate school for this” lol 😂🎉
Sorry but I love the way Karen and Gretchen pull Cady out of the way of the fighting girls. Shows they do still feel loyalty to her.
The song is so mysterious captivating.
YESSSS QWEENN
Ok, but why does every chaos scene in high school teen shows end with pulling the fire extuinguisher, lol
Man the song is bad now
I miss the kid calling mom to go home 😂
Why’d they have to massacre World Burn like that😭
