They are made to hurt themselves to survive, when have of the challenges could end up killing them anyway
Most of the traps definitely weren’t fair in this movie, but I think he maybe subconsciously made them virtually impossible to win as payback for what they did to him

С первого фильма не понимал, почему ЭТО называют ловушками. Ловушки ловят, как ни странно. А это устройства для самоистязания, пыточные приспособления. И если в первом-втором фильме теоретически был шанс, то в последующих выживание не предусмотрено

Some of these traps are hilariously unfair.
Some people have to click a button to break their fingers, and then there's this dude who has to perform open brain surgery on himself in less than 2 minutes.

As much as I love this film I have a feeling the writers didn't care giving the survivors enough time but makes sense as the traps are the main attreaction of the frenchise
I’m sorry this may be the dumbest trap I’ve seen in a saw movie. Even if he did cut his brain to the amount and successfully made it he’s still not surviving long with HALF of his skull missing. You can’t put a bandage on that and call it a day.
What’s so bad about this
These are all stupid traps, realistically a human would simply die or pass out due to shock…
Jigsaw didn't give any of these people enough time. They did their task… just too late.
