Triple H on Controversial Encounter Between Cody Rhodes & Kevin Owens

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has broken his silence on the encounter between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens at Bad Blood. Tensions had risen between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens in the weeks leading up to WWE Bad Blood 2024.

Kevin Owens was not pleased with Cody Rhodes teaming up with Roman Reigns to take on The Bloodline. He lost his temper and attacked Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes after WWE Bad Blood went off air.

The incident unfolded behind the scenes, with Owens attacking Rhodes outside his tour bus after the show. Fan footage of the attack surfaced online, but WWE has not shared any details on their social media. The video of Owens assaulting Rhodes went viral, shocking fans who saw the scene occur without WWE cameras present.

Backstage officials intervened to calm the situation after Owens attacked Rhodes. He was later seen leaving the area in his car while officials assisted Rhodes. While both Owens and Rhodes have yet to release statements on the situation, WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Triple H, has shared his thoughts on the matter.

Triple H reacts to the incident, promises it will be ‘dealt with internally’

Triple H addressed the controversial incident on X (formerly Twitter) involving Kevin Owens attacking Cody Rhodes. He confirmed that WWE is aware of the situation that occurred outside the arena and stated that the issue will be handled internally. He wrote, “We are aware of the incident outside of the arena last night between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens. The matter will be dealt with internally.”

A few weeks ago on WWE SmackDown, Kevin Owens nearly snapped at Cody Rhodes. Fortunately, Randy Orton intervened as a peacemaker, calming the situation between them. Since Orton is currently involved in this storyline, it will be interesting to see how he reacts to Owens attacking Rhodes.
