  1. Lord I just love baseball. Don't care if it's major league, minor league, college ball, juco ball, high school or even grandchildren Little League.

    The outdoors, sunlight. Grass and dirt infield. The stands, fans and snack bar offerings.

    But sadly I no longer attend or listen to MLB. Will not take my grandchildren to the games. Tbe owners have ruined it. What with the gimmickry of the fat, slow, one dimensional DH (none should go into HOF), pitcher timing constraints, reduced coaching visits to the mound.

    Still there are the other venues still available. Lord but I love baseball.

  2. Tim Robbins is an actor. you can tell he can't throw above 70 mph. his body looks uncoordinated, the ball looks like it's falling to the ground as it approaches home plate.

  3. Great scene, but I am surprised that, with all the attention to detail in this movie to make it accurate, they show Crash using bases-empty signs (1-fastball, 2-curve, etc.) instead of pump or indicator signs with men on base. See, I have set before you (G)an open door, [b]and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. 9 Indeed I will make (H)those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed (I)I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. 10 Because you have kept [c]My command to persevere, (J)I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon (K)the whole world, to test those who dwell (L)on the earth. 11 [d]Behold, (M)I am coming quickly! (N)Hold fast what you have, that no one may take (O)your crown. 12 He who overcomes, I will make him (P)a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall (Q)go out no more. (R)I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the (S)New Jerusalem, which (T)comes down out of heaven from My God. (U)And I will write on him My new name.

    New King James Version
    Impending Judgment on the Earth
    24 Behold, the Lord makes the earth empty and makes it waste,
    Distorts its surface
    And scatters abroad its inhabitants.
    2 And it shall be:
    As with the people, so with the priest;
    As with the servant, so with his master;
    As with the maid, so with her mistress;
    As with the buyer, so with the seller;
    As with the lender, so with the borrower;
    As with the creditor, so with the debtor.
    3 The land shall be entirely emptied and utterly plundered,
    For the Lord has spoken this word.

    4 The earth mourns and fades away,
    The world languishes and fades away;
    The haughty people of the earth languish.
    5 The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants,
    Because they have transgressed the laws,

    And those who dwell in it are desolate.
    Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned,
