I wish Susan had survived. She was trying to do something that would save a lot of people and their families from a horrible disease. I never saw her as the cold blooded villain most audiences saw her as. Yes, she screwed up. But she was trying to do good. Just went about it wrong.

I know Susan was an arrogant person, but she sacrificed herself to save Carter and Preacher, that she cared about the most out of anyone

For those who don’t know, they were making a cure for Alzheimer’s and while testing it made the sharks as smart as the humans while hunting them, similar to like how it made Caesar and the apes smart as humans in Planet of the apes, same concept.

After Jim had drowned and Susan had been devoured, they probably faced judgement from God and weren't permitted into Heaven but were sent to Hell for their unacceptable actions of conducting research on mako sharks to help in the re-activation of dormant human brain cells like those found in Alzheimer's disease patients and genetically engineered the sharks to increase their brain size as they were not naturally large enough to harvest sufficient amounts of the protein complex which broke protocol and made the sharks smarter and more deadly.

Aside from the hilariously-bad acrobatic move that gets Thomas Jane on the shark's back, this is such an awesome action scene between the pacing and Trevor Rabin's exciting music. And I've always loved LL Cool J's transition from excited "Yeah!" to realizing "Damn, I just blew up my buddy" before Jane then survives.

l was/am a Jaws fan then l saw this clip, damn that shark was more scary than any of the Jaws sharks thank God l never saw this in 3-D l would have had nightmares for days.

She was supposed to survive. Online, you can find an original scene of her kissing Carter after surviving everything. But the test audience hated it because of how she was responsible for creating killing machines.
