A lot of creative liberties were used by Hollywood in this movie which makes it fake fake fake. Sonny weaver acts arrogant, treats his people like they are stupid and don't know anything about football or their players and belittles his coaching front of everyone. The gba job is to assemble the team that the coach plays, simple. Worst Kevin costner movie ever next to water world.

That touching the ref rule shouldn’t result in an ejection if you’re doing something like touching his shoulder to get his attention because that’s nothing, it actually shouldn’t be a rule at all because most contact with the refs are minor or occur when a player is tryna break up a fight
