White Collar Reboot Title & Pilot Revealed by Creator

The title for the highly anticipated White Collar reboot has been revealed. Following the announcement of the planned reboot officially moving forward, series creator Jeff Eastin has something to say to those “asking” about the title.

It was announced back in June that the project is moving forward, with Eastin writing the script. Matt Bomer (Fellow Travelers) is also confirmed to be returning as con man Neal Caffrey along with Tim DeKay (Oppenheimer) and Tiffani Thiessen (Saved by the Bell) as Peter and Elizabeth Burke, respectively.

What is the White Collar reboot title?

On X (formerly Twitter), the series creator “can report the studio is very happy with the new White Collar script.” He accompanied his post with a screenshot of the script, revealing that the reboot will be called White Collar Renaissance. It also teases that the pilot episode will be called “Masquerade.”

This isn’t the first time the planned reboot received a major update, with Bomer confirming earlier this year that a series revival might already be “in the works.” It wasn’t until June that it was confirmed to be moving forward, though some details — including the title — weren’t revealed at the time.

White Collar premiered on USA Network in 2009 and concluded in 2014, spanning six seasons. In addition to Bomer, DeKay, and Thiessen, the series also starred Willie Garson as Neal’s best friend Mozzie, Marsha Thomason as Diana Berrigan, Sharif Atkins as Clinton Jones, Hilarie Burton as Sara Ellis, Natalie Morales as Lauren Cruz, and more.

“A white-collar criminal agrees to help the FBI catch other white-collar criminals using his expertise as an art and securities thief, counterfeiter, and conman,” the logline for the original series reads.

No release date has been set yet for White Collar Renaissance.
