  1. "You took my day with Mom, so it is my business."
That hits harder if you have ever had a sibling who needs extra support. It doesn't matter if you are the older or younger sibling; Via had her precious time – and it was precious – taken away.

  2. The conclusion is, pain, stress, struggles shouldn't be compared. People feel things differently, and feelings aren't something that can be measured. Maybe some experiences are more easy to empathise with, like Auggie's, maybe some are neglected, like Via's. Some are straightforward, some are overshadowed. But in the end, both of them did nothing wrong, its not their fault they're born differently, or they have people in their lives born differently. what we can do is to make them feel loved equally.❤‍🩹

  3. Just think about this! It would be sooo crushing to think someone you knew was your friend only to discover they’ve been talking crap about you behind your back! Even though Jack Will was only doing it to fit in with the other boys, it’s still very wrong. I am glad they rekindled their friendship, though. They’re both sooo cute!

  4. I would not let my kid go to school just to get bullied. This will stay with him for the rest of his life. The parents knew what would’ve happened. Or at least I would have supervised my kid to school for the first couple of days to make sure he does not get bullied. These teachers don’t seem to care about the well being of these kids. This world is already f***ed up as it is. After seeing how many times he complained and even cut his braid for being talked about at school would have been my last straw. Back to homeschool it is.

  5. It seems that Auggie felt that he had no friends left after Jack Will made fun of his costume on Halloween and he was really hurt. It was nice that Via came to support him and be understanding.
