Is There a The Penguin Season 2 Release Date & Is It Coming Out?

Having said that, while viewers seem to be awaiting news about the show’s renewal, Colin Farrell doesn’t seem too keen on taking on the role, at least for the next year or so. When TotalFilm (via GamesRadar+) asked him if he thinks a Season 2 could happen, he said:

“I don’t know, man. Don’t get me wrong – I loved it – but it got in on me a little bit. By the end of it, I was bitching and moaning to anyone who would listen to me that I f****** wanted it to be finished. I tried to remind them that I had ‘grumpy gratitude.’ I was still grateful, and still honored.”

“And maybe in a year, I would. But when I finished I was like, ‘I never want to put that…suit and that…head on again,’” he added.

This showcases how demanding this role was for Farrell, with all the prosthetics.

So far, none of the other cast members or the creators of the show have said anything about a second season for The Penguin. Given that, we probably won’t hear any news about it until after the last episode of Season 1 airs on November 10, 2024.
