I watched a YouTube video of a man that found one of these things in a junkyard.. he took it up fixed it up.. and he made it look exactly like the car from Christine the thing was totally awesome
In the version I saw, it showed Christine killing the cigar guy by crushing him against the steering wheel by with power seat. Did that get edited out for time, or for being to graphic?

I made this the inspiration for The Dixie Limousine.
It's about a group of college students and an old mechanic tries to stop an old 1980 Oldsmobile Regency that has been causing chaos in the Midwest.
Events.
1980: The limo is made, a workers fingers get crushed, a supervisor almost got killed by CO2 poisoning.
1981: The limo causes a 10-car pile-up in Phoenix.
1982: Makenzie's brother Bob modifies it for off-road use but dies when it crashes into a freeway.
1983: The limo crashes into a red Plymouth Fury. (Hence, it regenerates after crashes)
1984: A RadioShack shop is set on fire with the limo remaining intact.
1985: Makenzie starts his repair shop.
1986: The limo kills 2 of Makenzie's friends who didn't pay the fair and leaving him with leg Braches.
1987: Andy, the oldest in the group is born along with Ruby, Claire, and Charles.
1988: Randy and Lindsey are born in Ireland and move to Arizona the following week.
1989: The factory that the limo was made in burns down.
1990: Ivan is born in Belarus and moves to the USA.
1991: The Junji residence is built.
1992: Makenzie's shop burns down and is rebuilt.
1993: Claire moves from Canada.
1994: The Louis residence is built.
1995: Andy meets Makenzie.
1996: Makenzie's shop is brought by CJ Auto Repairs.
1997: Ruby gets a job at Makenzie's shop.
1998: Ivan's brother Alexi is born.
1999: The limo causes a crash in Wyoming.
2001: Ivan's family moves to Utah following September 11th.
2009: The group goes to college.
2011: Makenzie sees the limo regenerating after teens vandalize it on New Years.
2012: The same teens who vandalized the limo dies after the limo pushes them off a canyon cliff.
2013: The Limo ends up in Andy's garage, and is destroyed by the group, Sheriff Barns, deputies, and townsfolk after trapping it on a cliff.
The more I watch this movie, the more it becomes a thriller/romance.
Christine is a shiny beautiful car.
It just hurts me to see how everyone else mistreats her.
