How Did MrBeast Respond to the Lunchly Controversy? Tweet Explained
KSI, Logan Paul, and MrBeast‘s newest venture, Lunchly, is met with immense backlash from popular creators, including DanTDM. He took to X (formerly Twitter) to call them out for selling anything for the sake of earning money. Recently, Mr. Beast has addressed the ongoing criticism, clarifying their controversial claims about their newly launched product. So, what did Mr. Beast respond amidst the Lunchly Controversy? Here are the details.
How MrBeast reacted to the Lunchly drama
DanTDM’s criticism came after MrBeast, Paul, and KSI recently collaborated to launch a food brand, Lunchly. The brand offers pre-packaged meals similar to those of the long-running American brand Lunchables. Since it stepped into the market, the brand has garnered immense attention, all thanks to the controversial statement of its founders, which was jointly released.
While Paul emphasized selling high-quality products, his utterance of the brand being a “healthier alternative” garnered much attention. Internet users and creators have come out to slam this controversial claim, calling their lunchboxes “unhealthy.” To clarify everyone’s confusion, MrBeast took to X to explain what makes their product healthy.
Their brand promises to give people what’s best for them. For instance, he mentions that their Turkey meal consists of “80% fewer calories, 60% less sugar, and more electrolytes.” Moreover, they use real cheese and high-quality meat in their meals.
He further details how Lunchly’s sole focus is to provide a high-quality version of pre-made meals at a roughly similar price to that of Lunchables. His tweet reads, “Obviously eating fresh chicken and broccoli is healthier but if someone is going to eat a premade meal like this (which millions of people do thru lunchables) then I think giving them a higher quality version at roughly the same price is a net good imo and why we launched Lunchly. Also as we get economies of scale and can get things cheaper we will be only improving the product more and more.”
