Beyond Fest Reveals 2024 Movie Slate, Festival Opens With Salem’s Lot World Premiere

The 2024 festival slate for the 12th annual Beyond Fest has been revealed.

Beyond Fest is being held in Los Angeles from Wednesday, September 25, 2024, to Wednesday, October 9, 2024. This year’s annual genre film festival will feature 82 movies, including 16 world premieres, four international premieres, one North American premiere, three United States premieres, and 25 West Coast premieres.

This year’s Beyond Fest will open with the world premiere of Salem’s Lot, which hits Max this coming October, while Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s Cloud will close the event. 

“Combining a celebration of cinema whilst firmly focusing our gaze on the next generation of filmmakers has always been at the heart of the Beyond Fest,” said Evrim Ersoy, the event’s head of programming. “And this year we have even more opportunity to bring together the full spectrum of genre filmmaking to the community that is at the core of everything we do: from Kiyoshi Kurosawa to Brady Corbet, Jennifer Kent to Sam Raimi, we have created a program that embraces all corners of the cinematic spectrum.”
