  1. Probably the most epic “I’m going out on my feet and not on my knees” death scene in movie history. Probably better than Scarface. Better than Apollo in Rocky 4… and you don’t even see what happens to Billy. Your mind “imagines” what happened and it’s far worse than actually seeing it. Perfect scene!

  2. Is it true that the character playing Billy went off script here and really though he was fighting an alien? They say Sonny Landham was a bit crazy and that the other actors needed bodyguards…. maybe even the predator needed a bodyguard which probably killed billy in the movie since we dont see the preadtor killing him XD

  3. As a cool tidbit, the writers of "Prey" said that Billy is the reincarnation of Tabe, and that this last stand is caused by memories of his past life surfacing. Obviously this wasnt the olan when this film originally came out, but its cool to see the films connecting to eachother in more than just, this happened first and that happened second

  4. Do you know something funny I realized is this scene perfectly mirrors how Dr Grant describes a velociraptor attack in Jurassic Park. "And that's when the attack comes not from the front but from the side from the "raptor"you didn't even know was there"

  5. Billy knew that this was his final battle. He wouldn't be getting out of this alive, but he would not run. He would not cry, or beg, or plead for mercy. What he faced was something not of this world: It was ruthless, it was powerful, and stronger than he would ever be. All Billy could do was choose how he would face his end, and he would not die a coward.

With his knife in hand, he waited. And then he saw it: Atop a fallen log a few feet away, the demon rose. It was hard to see; only the shimmering silhouette of its body allowed it to be seen among the trees and the bushes and the dense jungle.

Gripping the knife with his sweaty hand, Billy started forward.

And then he stepped on a LEGO brick.

With a scream of pain, Billy hopped up and down, then tripped and fell off the log, plunging into the gorge and to his death.

The Predator watched his falling foe, shrugged, then walked across the log after the others.

  6. Billy's Final scene was to showcase that he wasn't afraid to face him. And his culture is not to run away in fear but to be a warrior all the way through. He threw away his Gun to make a even fair fight
