Eminem will be opening the MTV VMAs this year.
The legendary rapper will be seen giving his first live performance of his latest album, titled The Death of Slim Shady. He has received a total of eight nominations, including Artist of the Year, Video of the Year, Best Hip-Hop, and Song of the Summer.
However, this is not the first time Eminem will be gracing the stage of VMAs . The rapper made his debut at the event in 1999 with songs like “Guilty Conscience” and “My Name Is.” This was followed by his most famous moment with Real Slim Shady and The Way I Am. In that performance, he was joined by an army of 100 lookalikes.
In 2010, he opened the VMAS alongside Rihanna and made a special appearance during Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s performance in 2012. Further, Eminem joined Snoop Dogg in 2022 to perform their first collaboration called From the D 2 The LBC.
