Freaky Friday 2 Adds Jordan E. Cooper to Cast

Playwright and actor Jordan E. Cooper has landed a role in Freak Friday 2, where he’ll star alongside Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan.

The multifaceted star will play a character called Jett in the follow-up to the body-swapping comedy.

Cooper has a pretty impressive resume. He’s a Tony Award-nominated actor, playwright, producer, and director. His critically acclaimed play Aint No Mo’ saw him become the youngest Black American playwright in the history of Broadway. Among the play’s six Tony award nominations was one for Cooper himself for his performance as flight attendant, Peaches.

Cooper has starred on television in BET’s The Ms. Pat Show and FX’s Pose. He also has his own production company called Cookout Entertainment.
